The 28th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

Posted on

Short and sweet. I’ve not had my coffee yet, so this is the best I can do.

The Constitution has 27 Amendments. Not 28.

I feel like that crazy guy in the movie There’s Something About Mary, when he’s yelling about 7-minute Abs.

This whole thing got started a few years ago when it was just one of those things emails that gets passed around the internet and posted to every social media site by people who have no idea what they’re talking about.

This past August, Ron DeSantis of Florida and Matt Salmon of Arizona introduced H.J.Res.55, which says that “Congress shall make no law respecting the citizens of the United States that does not also apply to the Senators and Representatives.” You can read up on it right here: H.J.Res.55 at the Library of Congress

So, once again, please tell your family, your friends, your coworkers, your dentist or whoever that Amendment 28 doesn’t exist.

Best,
Clyde O. Watson

“Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives” – Ronald Reagan
And that’s exactly what the Democrats are trying to do; trying to run the lives of the citizens with ObamaCare and violating the first, second and fourth amendment of every American Citizen.

America’s Real Founding Principles

Posted on

People constantly talk about what the Founding Fathers would have wanted or what they meant by this or that. Well, here’s the thing…

Our country was founded on two basic fundamental principles:

1. You can’t trust the government.

2. You can’t trust the masses.

That’s it. It’s that simple.

Every word of our Constitution (and our Bill of Rights) is completely driven by those two simple principles. Read the rest of this entry
