I’ll keep this one simple. Here’s a list of some people Donald Trump has complimented:
- Muommar Gaddafi, Libyan Dictator who has brutally murdered thousands
He complimented Gaddafi for being “tough on terrorism.”
“We would be so much better off if Gaddafi were in charge right now.”
- Bashar al-Assad, Syrian dictator, who has brutally murdered thousands
He admires Assad’s leadership.
“I think in terms of leadership, he’s getting an A and our president is not doing so well.”
- Kim Jong Un, North Korean dictator who murders and puts citizens in concentration camps
He actually admires Kim Jong Un for murdering his own uncle, as well as his top advisors. I don’t know about you, but I’d never take an advisory position for Trump.
“You gotta give him credit. How many young guys — he was, like, 26 or 25 when his father died — take over these tough generals, and all of a sudden … he goes in, he takes over, and he’s the boss. It’s incredible. He wiped out the uncle, he wiped out this one, that one. I mean, this guy doesn’t play games.”
- Vladimir Putin, Russian dictator and murderer.
He admires Putin for being a strong leader. He’s called Putin “Brilliant” (apparently, they traded the word back and forth).
“If Putin respects me and if Putin wants to call me brilliant and other things that he said that were frankly very nice, I’ll accept that, and I’ll accept it on behalf of our country.”
- Saddam Hussein, Iraqi dictator and murderer of thousands.
He respects Hussein for fighting terrorists and even defended Hussein’s use of chemical weapons. And he actually compliments Hussein for refusing to give suspected criminals any rights. I sure hope the Trump campaign doesn’t accuse me of anything, because I now know he won’t give me any rights to defend myself.
“You know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights. They didn’t talk. They were terrorists. Over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism. You want to be a terrorist, you go to Iraq. It’s like Harvard, OK? So sad, so sad.”
I just don’t quite understand. Obama was accused of an “apology tour” when he didn’t make a single apology, yet Trump can openly and proudly admire our worst enemies and people love him.
America, you confuse me.
